It's really thrilling seeing things starting to be scheduled in theatres again.

I'm very tempted to book a ticket for Matthew Bourne's new show, The Midnight Bell, even if I end up not being able to go in real life.

There was chat on our theatre watching call last night about a trip to Pitlochry to see David Greig's new play

There's this guy in Edinburgh in JUNE.

And then of course, the Fringe on our doorstep in some form or other.

What days.

I continue moderately disappointed that theatres in Scotland aren't being a bit more ambitious with their creations during this time.

The Lyceum / Pitlochry's Sound Stage is a sound enough idea but with all these theatres sitting empty, feels a little underwhelming. But maybe it's astronomically expensive to produce something in person that can only be broadcast online.

I wasn't a huge fan of the recent Tennis Elbow though I daresay some will have found it very entertaining. Me, not so much.

Maybe some of the others will be a bit more gripping. I was sorry to miss Angela.
