I was on holiday last week, not that this poor blog felt the benefit of that. But spent most of the week writing and writing or lurking in parks. 

A moment or two before that, I enjoyed some of The Tron's 'sonic plays' including a beautifully scripted piece by Stef Smith. More of this here.

I had such a beautiful dream that I somehow won a competition to shadow a director of the third in a trilogy of plays that was some sort of gangster musical hybrid where they all wore sharp suits and did sharp dance routines. 

It may have been called The Slab Boys which is peculiar as I know nothing about these plays - but I was looking at a biography of John Byrne yesterday so that would make some sort of illogical sense to a befuddled mind. It was wonderful yet alarming as the cast was huge and none of them were socially distancing...
