Emailing people character notes before auditions tomorrow and I so don't want the Fringe to be cancelled. I love this script so much. Please let it be so!

Two weeks until auditions, virus willing. That's exciting. 

I had a beautifully indulgent and lazy 24 hours in Newcastle at the weekend with my awesome designer friend, Michelle, who's created this lovely graphic for the show. 

And last week, I had the total pleasure of two theatre deliciousnesses.

A feisty relocation of The Secret Garden to modern day maybe Highlands somewhere. Itxaso Moreno was totally wonderful.

And then this fascinating thing which was shamelessly pretentious, as self-consciously theatrical as you can get and shamelessly brilliant, all at once. It also [We Are In Time] has one of the best show titles I've encountered for ages.

Catch either or both if you can. 

This was brilliant.

Four and a half stars maybe.
