Auditions start unofficially tonight and officially tomorrow.

I'm reeling slightly as what feels like an incredible number of 16 year old girls have got in touch to express interest in auditioning. Whether or not they all turn up is another thing. But hats off to Hannah for getting word out so far beyond our usual network of (not 16 year old) women.

I'm terrified in advance. It's bad enough telling adults they're not cast. Not casting a child - although at 16, they're scarcely children - is an entirely different kettle of fish. I shall steel myself for a whole new level of letting-down-ing.
